Frozen Strawberries Price in Lithuania (CIF) - 2022
The average frozen strawberries import price stood at $1,591 per ton in 2022, shrinking by -4% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 an increase of 24%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $1,824 per ton. From 2014 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Belgium ($2,657 per ton), while the price for Egypt ($1,203 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Italy (+23.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
