The average frozen strawberries export price stood at $1,944 per ton in June 2023, flattening at the previous month. Overall, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in October 2022 when the average export price increased by 21% month-to-month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $2,535 per ton. From November 2022 to June 2023, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major overseas markets. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was the United States ($1,944 per ton), while the average price for exports to Canada stood at $1,944 per ton.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United States (-0.6%).

In June 2023, the average frozen strawberries import price amounted to $2,446 per ton, declining by -8.4% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in April 2023 when the average import price increased by 128% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $6,570 per ton. From May 2023 to June 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
