In June 2023, the average frozen strawberries export price amounted to $1,985 per ton, dropping by -11.5% against the previous month. Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.8%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in July 2022 an increase of 13% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $2,243 per ton in May 2023, and then dropped in the following month.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was the UK ($3,225 per ton), while the average price for exports to Belgium ($1,612 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Netherlands (+3.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average frozen strawberries import price stood at $1,313 per ton in June 2023, rising by 6% against the previous month. In general, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in November 2022 an increase of 25% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $1,910 per ton in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to June 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Austria ($1,998 per ton), while the price for Egypt ($1,144 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Egypt (+0.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

Frozen Strawberries Imports in Poland
