In June 2023, the average frozen strawberries import price amounted to $1,361 per ton, with an increase of 1.7% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 an increase of 4% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $1,468 per ton in October 2022; however, from November 2022 to June 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Germany ($2,677 per ton), while the price for Egypt ($1,171 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Spain (+5.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The export price peaked at $2,023 per ton in May 2023, and then dropped in the following month.
