Frozen Turkey Cut Price in Poland (FOB) - 2023
The average frozen turkey cut export price stood at $2,873 per ton in July 2023, which is down by -8.1% against the previous month. In general, the export price recorded a slight decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in November 2022 when the average export price increased by 9.6% against the previous month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $3,620 per ton. From December 2022 to July 2023, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was the UK ($4,644 per ton), while the average price for exports to Liberia ($1,067 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Moldova (+3.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In June 2023, the average frozen turkey cut import price amounted to $1,324 per ton, which is down by -5.2% against the previous month. In general, import price indicated modest growth from June 2022 to June 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +1.8% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on June 2023 figures, frozen turkey cut import price decreased by -8.1% against April 2023 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in September 2022 an increase of 41% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $1,441 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to June 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was France ($4,949 per ton), while the price for Germany ($1,058 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by France (+2.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Frozen Turkey Cut Exports in Poland
In 2022, the amount of frozen turkey cuts exported from Poland reached 88K tons, rising by 7.2% against 2021 figures. Over the period under review, exports, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 8.7%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of 97K tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.
