Fruit Price in Croatia (CIF) - 2022
The average fruit import price stood at $910 per ton in 2022, increasing by 2.9% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.1%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 an increase of 8.6%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $956 per ton. From 2015 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($1,453 per ton), while the price for Poland ($383 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Serbia (+3.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Fruit Price in Croatia (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average fruit export price amounted to $680 per ton, increasing by 7.5% against the previous year. Overall, export price indicated a slight expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +1.2% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, fruit export price increased by +106.4% against 2017 indices. Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Russia ($8,000 per ton), while the average price for exports to Austria ($239 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Russia (+28.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Fruit Imports in Croatia
In 2022, approx. 256K tons of fruits were imported into Croatia; growing by 7.3% compared with 2021.
