Glass Fibre Voiles Price in Poland (FOB) - 2021
The average glass fibre voiles export price stood at $2,759 per ton in November 2021, increasing by 3% against the previous month. Overall, the export price, however, continues to indicate a slight decrease. The growth pace was the most rapid in May 2021 an increase of 11% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $3,140 per ton in November 2020; however, from December 2020 to November 2021, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In November 2021, the country with the highest price was Germany ($4,264 per ton), while the average price for exports to Turkey ($2,104 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2020 to November 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany (+4.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Glass Fibre Voiles Price in Poland (CIF) - 2022
The average glass fibre voiles import price stood at $3,557 per ton in 2022, dropping by -2.6% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.6%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 an increase of 42% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $3,702 per ton. From 2019 to 2022, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Denmark ($7,696 per ton), while the price for Finland ($628 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Denmark (+7.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Glass Fibre Voiles Exports in Poland
In 2022, after three years of growth, there was significant decline in shipments abroad of glass fibre voiles, when their volume decreased by -9.7% to 8.9K tons. The total export volume increased at an average annual rate of +5.5% over the period from 2019 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by 24%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of 9.9K tons, and then dropped in the following year.
In value terms, glass fibre voiles exports reduced to $25M in 2022. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of +4.3% from 2019 to 2022; however, the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 18%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $27M, and then reduced in the following year.

In value terms, glass fibre voiles imports contracted modestly to $24M in 2022. Overall, imports, however, showed a mild slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 1%.
