Glass Fibre Voiles Price in Russia (FOB) - 2021
In December 2021, the average glass fibre voiles export price amounted to $3,451 per ton, stabilizing at the previous month. In general, the export price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in May 2021 when the average export price increased by 17% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $4,987 per ton in August 2021; however, from September 2021 to December 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Slovenia ($4,240 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Czech Republic ($2,152 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2020 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Poland (+1.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In December 2021, the average glass fibre voiles import price amounted to $4,171 per ton, picking up by 6.3% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a slight descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2021 an increase of 34% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $4,979 per ton in December 2020; however, from January 2021 to December 2021, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In December 2021, the country with the highest price was the UK ($10,472 per ton), while the price for Finland ($1,537 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2020 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the UK (+6.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Glass Fibre Voiles Exports in Russia
In 2022, after three years of growth, there was decline in shipments abroad of glass fibre voiles, when their volume decreased by -4.1% to 6.7K tons. The total export volume increased at an average annual rate of +5.0% over the period from 2019 to 2022; the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations being observed throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 12% against the previous year.
In value terms, glass fibre voiles exports dropped to $22M in 2022. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of +9.3% over the period from 2019 to 2022; the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by 28% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $25M, and then dropped in the following year.
