The average glass fibre voiles export price stood at $5,164 per ton in 2022, stabilizing at the previous year. In general, the export price, however, recorded a mild setback. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 when the average export price increased by 14% against the previous year. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $6,435 per ton. From 2020 to 2022, the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Indonesia ($5,165 per ton), while the average price for exports to Malaysia stood at $5,164 per ton.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Indonesia (-0.5%).
