In December 2021, the average glass fibre voiles export price amounted to $5,483 per ton, picking up by 28% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a mild curtailment. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $6,170 per ton in December 2020; however, from January 2021 to December 2021, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In December 2021, the country with the highest price was the United Arab Emirates ($19,929 per ton), while the average price for exports to Canada ($2,771 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2020 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Canada (+1.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

In December 2021, the average glass fibre voiles import price amounted to $4,096 per ton, falling by -6.3% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price saw a perceptible shrinkage. The growth pace was the most rapid in February 2021 when the average import price increased by 9.6% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $6,032 per ton in June 2021; however, from July 2021 to December 2021, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was France ($12,576 per ton), while the price for Germany ($3,161 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2020 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Finland (+1.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 27%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $137M, and then shrank in the following year.
