Green Coffee Price in Azerbaijan (CIF) - 2023
The average green coffee import price stood at $5,967 per ton in August 2023, increasing by 16% against the previous month. Over the period from August 2022 to August 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.4%. The growth pace was the most rapid in June 2023 when the average import price increased by 22% month-to-month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $6,736 per ton. From July 2023 to August 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was the United Arab Emirates ($12,000 per ton), while the price for Brazil ($5,273 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Ethiopia (+6.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
