Groundnut Oil Price in Latvia (CIF) - 2022
The average groundnut oil import price stood at $5,045 per ton in 2022, with a decrease of -63.2% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, showed a buoyant expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when the average import price increased by 171%. The import price peaked at $13,710 per ton in 2021, and then declined sharply in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($13,772 per ton), while the price for Italy ($4,212 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Estonia (+10.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
