Hardboard Price in Venezuela (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average hardboard import price amounted to $710 per cubic meter, which is down by -4.5% against the previous year. Overall, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 an increase of 90%. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $1,061 per cubic meter. From 2020 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Belgium ($2,901 per cubic meter), while the price for Brazil ($246 per cubic meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Belgium (+6.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

In 2022, the average hardboard export price amounted to $304 per cubic meter, reducing by -19.5% against the previous year. Hardboard Imports in Venezuela
In 2022, after three years of growth, there was significant decline in overseas purchases of hardboard, when their volume decreased by -26.4% to 321 cubic meters. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a significant expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 218% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of 436 cubic meters, and then reduced remarkably in the following year.
In value terms, hardboard imports reduced notably to $228K in 2022. In general, imports, however, recorded significant growth. Hardboard Exports in Venezuela
