Hearing Aid Price in Australia (CIF) - 2023
The average hearing aid import price stood at $76.2 per unit in August 2023, falling by -12.6% against the previous month. Overall, the import price continues to indicate a perceptible reduction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in March 2023 an increase of 49% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $106 per unit in November 2022; however, from December 2022 to August 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was Vietnam ($214 per unit), while the price for Denmark ($28.0 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (+2.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average hearing aid export price stood at $345 per unit in 2022, picking up by 23% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, recorded a abrupt curtailment.
