Household Furniture Price in the United States (CIF) - 2023
The average household furniture import price stood at $22.5 per unit in August 2023, jumping by 19% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The import price peaked at $25.0 per unit in September 2022; however, from October 2022 to August 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Italy ($30.8 per unit), while the price for Israel ($3.5 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Taiwan (Chinese) (+4.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average household furniture export price amounted to $84 per unit, declining by -27.9% against the previous year. In general, the export price recorded a sharp setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 an increase of 22% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $3,536 per unit in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
