In December 2021, the average illuminated sign export price amounted to $16,953 per ton, declining by -14.2% against the previous month. Overall, the export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in November 2021 an increase of 41% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $20,810 per ton in February 2021; however, from March 2021 to December 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Finland ($33,550 per ton), while the average price for exports to Belgium ($9,432 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From January 2021 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Finland (+6.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $59,452 per ton. From July 2021 to December 2021, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
