Imines Price in the UK (CIF) - 2023
In June 2023, the average imines import price amounted to $9,950 per ton, growing by 24% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a perceptible shrinkage. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $14,238 per ton in June 2022; however, from July 2022 to June 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Slovenia ($17,874 per ton), while the price for India ($5,205 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by India (+8.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Imines Price in the UK (FOB) - 2022
The average imines export price stood at $13,208 per ton in 2022, picking up by 3% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a noticeable decrease. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 an increase of 418% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $74,785 per ton. From 2016 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Ireland ($30,745 per ton), while the average price for exports to Poland ($4,980 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Belgium (+5.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In general, exports showed a abrupt descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 13% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of 1.5K tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, imines exports fell slightly to $9.8M in 2022. Over the period under review, exports saw a slight setback.
