Ketone and Quinone Price in Belarus (CIF) - 2022
The average ketone and quinone import price stood at $1,311 per ton in April 2021, surging by 12% against the previous month. In general, import price indicated a significant expansion from January 2021 to April 2021: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +20.6% over the last three months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on April 2021 figures, ketone and quinone import price increased by +75.3% against January 2021 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2021 when the average import price increased by 28% month-to-month. The import price peaked in April 2021.
As there is only one major supplying country, the average price level is determined by prices for Russia.
From January 2021 to April 2021, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Russia amounted to +22.3% per month.
Ketone and Quinone Price in Belarus (FOB) - 2022
The average ketone and quinone export price stood at $2,640 per ton in 2022, waning by -44.3% against the previous year. Overall, the export price recorded a mild contraction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when the average export price increased by 171%. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $4,739 per ton in 2021, and then shrank sharply in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Ukraine ($16,031 per ton), while the average price for exports to Georgia ($1,464 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Egypt (+39.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Ketone and Quinone Imports in Belarus
In 2022, supplies from abroad of ketones and quinones was finally on the rise to reach 11K tons after two years of decline. Overall, imports, however, faced a abrupt contraction.
In value terms, ketone and quinone imports shrank to $9.8M in 2022. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a deep setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 31% against the previous year.

Ketone and Quinone Exports in Belarus
