The average liquefied butanes import price stood at $661 per ton in 2022, surging by 15% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, saw a noticeable downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 an increase of 22% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $845 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
