Liquefied Propane Price in Ireland (CIF) - 2023

The average liquefied propane import price stood at $741 per ton in August 2023, with an increase of 13% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a noticeable downturn. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in November 2022 an increase of 24% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $1,062 per ton in February 2023; however, from March 2023 to August 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($730 per ton), while the price for China ($590 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Belgium (+49.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
