The average liquefied propane export price stood at $82,454 per ton in 2022, reducing by -15.2% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, posted significant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 22,956%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $97,250 per ton, and then shrank notably in the following year.

After three years of growth, purchases abroad of liquefied propanes decreased by -28.1% to 211 tons in 2022. Overall, imports, however, recorded a resilient increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 129% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of 294 tons, and then contracted dramatically in the following year.

In value terms, liquefied propane imports contracted modestly to $306K in 2022. Over the period under review, imports saw a deep contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 2.6% against the previous year.
