The average live fish export price stood at $962 per ton in 2021, reducing by -1.7% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, recorded noticeable growth. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $978 per ton in 2020, and then declined in the following year.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Spain.

From 2018 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
