Mandarin and Clementine Price in Finland (CIF) - 2023
The average mandarin and clementine import price stood at $1,948 per ton in June 2023, approximately mirroring the previous month. In general, import price indicated a temperate increase from June 2022 to June 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +2.2% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on June 2023 figures, mandarin and clementine import price decreased by -18.2% against April 2023 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 when the average import price increased by 50% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $2,381 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to June 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Spain ($2,225 per ton), while the price for South Africa ($1,389 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Netherlands (+2.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
