In June 2023, the average mandarins export price amounted to $1,164 per ton, approximately mirroring the previous month. In general, the export price, however, recorded a mild contraction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in December 2022 when the average export price increased by 7% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $1,389 per ton in June 2022; however, from July 2022 to June 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major export markets. In June 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices to Thailand ($1,307 per ton) and Indonesia ($1,279 per ton), while the average price for exports to Myanmar ($1,009 per ton) and Russia ($1,044 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Kyrgyzstan (+1.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

The average mandarins import price stood at $1,817 per ton in 2022, with a decrease of -4.4% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 an increase of 10% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $1,975 per ton. From 2021 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
