Mandarins Price in Lithuania (CIF) - 2023

The average mandarins import price stood at $1,298 per ton in October 2023, reducing by -21% against the previous month. In general, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in September 2023 an increase of 40% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $1,686 per ton in June 2023; however, from July 2023 to October 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In October 2023, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($1,707 per ton), while the price for Turkey ($756 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Slovenia (+13.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Mandarins Price in Lithuania (FOB) - 2023

In October 2023, the average mandarins export price amounted to $1,477 per ton, which is down by -9% against the previous month. Overall, the export price continues to indicate a noticeable shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in June 2023 when the average export price increased by 32% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $2,066 per ton in October 2022; however, from November 2022 to October 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In October 2023, the country with the highest price was Kazakhstan ($1,996 per ton), while the average price for exports to Uzbekistan ($1,273 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Spain (+6.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

Mandarins Imports in Lithuania

Mandarins imports into Lithuania was estimated at 12K tons in 2022, with an increase of 4% against the year before. Overall, imports, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 4%.
