Mandarins Price in Tunisia (FOB) - 2022

The average mandarins export price stood at $2,902 per ton in 2022, with a decrease of -22.7% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed a pronounced increase. The export price peaked at $3,755 per ton in 2021, and then reduced notably in the following year.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Qatar ($3,682 per ton), while the average price for exports to Switzerland ($1,101 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2018 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Kuwait (+16.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

Mandarins Exports in Tunisia

After two years of decline, shipments abroad of fruit, edible decreased by -19.5% to 2.8 tons in 2022. In general, exports saw a dramatic setback.

In value terms, mandarins exports contracted dramatically to $8.1K in 2022. Overall, exports saw a sharp slump.
