In 2022, consumption of wood chips and particles decreased by -12.9% to 2.2M cubic meters for the first time since 2019, thus ending a two-year rising trend. Overall, consumption showed a slight descent. Over the period under review, consumption reached the maximum volume at 2.6M cubic meters in 2021, and then fell in the following year.

The revenue of the wood chips and particles market in the UK fell to $84M in 2022, declining by -7.3% against the previous year.
