In 2022, consumption of wood chips and particles decreased by -8.3% to 32M cubic meters, falling for the second year in a row after two years of growth. Over the period under review, consumption, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, consumption hit record highs at 37M cubic meters in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, consumption remained at a lower figure.
