Motorcycle Tire Price in Hungary (CIF) - 2023
In August 2023, the average motorcycle tire import price amounted to $55.3 per unit, picking up by 5.9% against the previous month. Over the period under review, import price indicated measured growth from August 2022 to August 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +2.0% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on August 2023 figures, motorcycle tire import price decreased by -34.5% against June 2023 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in October 2022 an increase of 76% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $84.4 per unit in June 2023; however, from July 2023 to August 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was Germany ($86.3 per unit), while the price for India ($14.9 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Slovenia (+4.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period from August 2022 to August 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.8%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was Bosnia and Herzegovina ($112 per unit), while the average price for exports to Slovenia ($52.0 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Croatia (+7.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
