In 2022, the average mullite import price amounted to $587 per ton, growing by 14% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw a abrupt decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when the average import price increased by 17%. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $2,015 per ton in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($584 per ton), while the price for China ($508 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2015 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+7.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
Mullite Imports in Sweden

In general, total imports indicated a prominent expansion from 2019 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +12.7% over the last three years.
