The average nickel; unwrought, alloys import price stood at $18,645 per ton in 2022, rising by 26% against the previous year. Overall, the import price saw a modest increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when the average import price increased by 114% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $29,433 per ton. From 2021 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($19,307 per ton), while the price for Austria ($14,246 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+10.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Austria ($50,738 per ton), while the average price for exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina ($18,574 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Bosnia and Herzegovina (+51.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
