Non-Cane Molasses Price in the United States (CIF) - 2023
The average non-cane molasses import price stood at $893 per ton in September 2023, picking up by 94% against the previous month. In general, the import price recorded a prominent increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in October 2022 an increase of 384% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $4,466 per ton in November 2022; however, from December 2022 to September 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Lebanon ($2,432 per ton), while the price for Canada ($199 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
