Non-Knitted Men Apparel Price in Japan (CIF) - 2022
In August 2022, the average non-knitted men apparel import price amounted to $18.2 per unit, picking up by 6.7% against the previous month. Overall, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in November 2021 when the average import price increased by 8.6% month-to-month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $20.1 per unit. From December 2021 to August 2022, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Indonesia ($19.1 per unit), while the price for Bangladesh ($10.4 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2021 to August 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Cambodia (+1.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
