Non-Numerically Controlled Lathe Price in China (FOB) - 2023
The average non-numerically controlled lathe export price stood at $5,156 per unit in September 2023, with an increase of 25% against the previous month. Over the period under review, export price indicated a slight increase from September 2022 to September 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +1.4% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on September 2023 figures, non-numerically controlled lathe export price increased by +24.6% against August 2023 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in June 2023 an increase of 66% month-to-month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $5,713 per unit; afterwards, it flattened through to September 2023.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In September 2023, the country with the highest price was Russia ($13,256 per unit), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands ($1,277 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Russia (+9.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Non-Numerically Controlled Lathe Price in China (CIF) - 2022
The average non-numerically controlled lathe import price stood at $8,129 per unit in 2022, with an increase of 5% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 31% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $11,714 per unit in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Switzerland ($38,342 per unit), while the price for Taiwan (Chinese) ($6,048 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Switzerland (+3.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
Non-Numerically Controlled Lathe Exports in China
In 2022, the amount of non-numerically controlled horizontal lathes, for removing metal exported from China soared to 43K units, with an increase of 60% against the previous year's figure. In general, exports recorded a significant expansion. As a result, the exports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
In value terms, non-numerically controlled lathe exports soared to $141M in 2022. Non-Numerically Controlled Lathe Imports in China
