Non-Numerically Controlled Lathe Price in South Korea (FOB) - 2022
The average non-numerically controlled lathe export price stood at $20,866 per unit in December 2022, approximately equating the previous month. Over the period from December 2021 to December 2022, it increased at an average monthly rate of +4.3%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2022 when the average export price increased by 66% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $20,870 per unit in July 2022; afterwards, it flattened through to December 2022.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major foreign markets. In December 2022, the highest price was recorded for prices to India ($20,867 per unit) and the United States ($20,866 per unit), while the average price for exports to Vietnam ($20,851 per unit) and Mexico ($20,863 per unit) were amongst the lowest.
From December 2021 to December 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Turkey (+5.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
