Non-Propelled Vehicle Price in the UK (CIF) - 2023
In June 2023, the average non-propelled vehicle import price amounted to $45.8 per unit, which is down by -16.5% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in August 2022 an increase of 126% against the previous month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $121 per unit. From September 2022 to June 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Germany ($82.8 per unit), while the price for China totaled $27.0 per unit.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (-0.5%).
Non-Propelled Vehicle Price in the UK (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average non-propelled vehicle export price amounted to $93 per unit, approximately mirroring the previous year. In general, export price indicated a prominent expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +6.2% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, non-propelled vehicle export price increased by +45.6% against 2020 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when the average export price increased by 46%. There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Saudi Arabia ($174 per unit), while the average price for exports to South Africa ($59 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, non-propelled vehicle exports plummeted to $29M in 2022. Overall, exports recorded a abrupt shrinkage.
