Nonwoven Fabric Price in Iraq (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average nonwoven fabric import price amounted to $2,817 per ton, falling by -5.1% against the previous year. In general, the import price showed a perceptible downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 an increase of 17% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $3,666 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($17,814 per ton), while the price for the United Arab Emirates ($2,559 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+16.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

The average nonwoven fabric export price stood at $2,599 per ton in 2022, remaining constant against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed a sharp reduction. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $6,867 per ton in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Jordan.
