In 2022, the average onion import price amounted to $435 per ton, stabilizing at the previous year. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when the average import price increased by 42%. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $656 per ton. From 2020 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
