In 2022, the average onion import price amounted to $374 per ton, with a decrease of -5.2% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +4.1%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 when the average import price increased by 36%.
