Packaging Machinery Price in the United States (CIF) - 2022
The average packaging machinery import price stood at $51,629 per ton in 2022, reducing by -5.6% against the previous year. Overall, the import price continues to indicate a slight shrinkage. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 an increase of 2.2% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $54,689 per ton, and then declined in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Switzerland ($150,782 per ton), while the price for Mexico ($9,665 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2020 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Mexico (+24.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
