Peach and Nectarine Price in Thailand (CIF) - 2022
The average peach and nectarine import price stood at $1,825 per ton in 2022, growing by 17% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a perceptible decline. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 an increase of 47%. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $3,854 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Japan ($17,353 per ton), while the price for China ($1,239 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United States (+3.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

The average peach and nectarine export price stood at $2,599 per ton in 2022, waning by -4.3% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, recorded a significant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when the average export price increased by 11%. The export price peaked at $3,125 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Myanmar.
From 2012 to 2022, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Cambodia amounted to +96.3% per year.

In 2022, approx. 1.3K tons of peaches and nectarines were imported into Thailand; surging by 15% compared with the year before. Overall, imports, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern.
