The average petroleum jelly export price stood at $2,950 per ton in September 2023, with an increase of 27% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. As a result, the export price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In September 2023, the country with the highest price was South Korea ($3,794 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands ($2,104 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
