Petroleum-Engine Cargo Trucks Price in Latvia (CIF) - 2022
The average petroleum-engine cargo trucks import price stood at $57,030 per unit in 2022, rising by 4.7% against the previous year. In general, the import price continues to indicate a strong increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 an increase of 98% against the previous year. The import price peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Sweden ($112,172 per unit), while the price for the United States ($4,191 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Finland (+15.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average petroleum-engine cargo trucks export price stood at $21,697 per unit in 2022, which is down by -21.1% against the previous year. Overall, export price indicated mild growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +1.0% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. In value terms, petroleum-engine cargo trucks imports declined slightly to $5.6M in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, showed significant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 88%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $5.7M, and then reduced modestly in the following year.
