Plant-Growth Regulators Price in Ghana (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average plant-growth regulators import price amounted to $2,258 per ton, which is down by -10.1% against the previous year. Overall, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 25%. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $2,513 per ton, and then dropped in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($7,442 per ton), while the price for Australia ($327 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United States (+6.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
Plant-Growth Regulators Price in Ghana (FOB) - 2022
The average plant-growth regulators export price stood at $4,008 per ton in 2022, which is down by -3.9% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 75%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $6,695 per ton. From 2014 to 2022, the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was India ($47,671 per ton), while the average price for exports to Togo ($1,404 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Niger (+28.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Plant-Growth Regulators Imports in Ghana
In 2022, the amount of plant-growth regulators imported into Ghana reached 59K tons, picking up by 4.7% against the year before. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +10.2% over the period from 2019 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when imports increased by 41%. As a result, imports attained the peak of 63K tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, plant-growth regulators imports fell to $134M in 2022.
