In 2022, the average plugs and socket export price amounted to $0.8 per unit, jumping by 39% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +4.5%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Indonesia ($1 per unit), while the average price for exports to Hong Kong SAR ($0.7 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
