In December 2022, the average plugs and socket import price amounted to $442 per thousand units, declining by -4% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price saw a slight curtailment. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in May 2022 an increase of 33% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $515 per thousand units in December 2021; however, from January 2022 to December 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
