In July 2023, the average plugs and socket import price amounted to $539 per thousand units, which is down by -4.7% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $644 per thousand units in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to July 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was the United States ($3.7 per unit), while the price for China ($233 per thousand units) was amongst the lowest.
From February 2023 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Austria (+33.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
