In June 2023, the average potassium sulphate (SOP) export price amounted to $893 per ton, which is down by -5.5% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in November 2022 an increase of 14% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $1,032 per ton in February 2023; however, from March 2023 to June 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for the United States.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the rate of growth in terms of prices for the United States amounted to -0.1% per month.

The average potassium sulphate (SOP) import price stood at $989 per ton in 2022, growing by 25% against the previous year. In general, import price indicated a pronounced increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +4.0% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
