Poultry Price in Croatia (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average poultry import price amounted to $3,087 per ton, picking up by 17% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.3%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when the average import price increased by 24% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $3,265 per ton. From 2015 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($4,272 per ton), while the price for Germany ($1,428 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Belgium (+6.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Poultry Price in Croatia (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average poultry export price amounted to $2,457 per ton, rising by 11% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a mild setback. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 an increase of 13%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $3,062 per ton. From 2014 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Montenegro ($3,913 per ton), while the average price for exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina ($1,477 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Kosovo (+12.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Poultry Imports in Croatia
In 2022, the amount of poultry imported into Croatia expanded notably to 23K tons, surging by 10% against the previous year.
