Preserved Olive Price in Tunisia (FOB) - 2022
The average preserved olive export price stood at $1,485 per ton in 2022, rising by 9.5% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, saw a slight reduction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 13%. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $2,036 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the UK ($9,862 per ton), while the average price for exports to Libya ($382 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the UK (+17.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

The average preserved olive import price stood at $1,240 per ton in 2022, which is down by -10.8% against the previous year. In general, the import price recorded a abrupt shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when the average import price increased by 28% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $2,266 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
